The will bring together innovators in AI-driven health care solutions for its inaugural symposium to be held on April 3 at the Hanover Inn.

Launched last July, the CPHAI fosters interdisciplinary collaborations that leverage AI and other computational technologies to drive advancements in precision medicine and disease prevention.

鈥淧recision health has the potential to fine-tune diagnosis and treatment for a broad range of health ailments, leveraging an individual鈥檚 health history, genetic makeup, and environmental and social factors,鈥 says, the Pat and John Rosenwald Professor in the Department of Computer Science.

鈥淎lthough CPHAI was just launched last year, it has already attracted a strong cohort of collaborative faculty and researchers spanning the entire 大香蕉视频 campus鈥攁nd the medical centers of 大香蕉视频 Health鈥攖o tackle some of the most challenging questions related to AI in medicine,鈥 says Kotz.

The one-day symposium, , will open with remarks from and feature keynotes by , professor of radiology, medicine, and biomedical data science at Stanford University, and , associate professor of pathology at Harvard University.

Through the day鈥檚 sessions, 大香蕉视频鈥檚 AI experts and clinicians will share insights into transforming health care through AI, emphasizing collaborative research and innovation.

The CPHAI received initial funding from the Geisel School of Medicine and 大香蕉视频 Cancer Center and is based in the Williamson Translational Research Building, a 大香蕉视频-owned building on the 大香蕉视频 Hitchcock Medical Center campus in Lebanon, N.H.

Recent work by researchers affiliated with CPHAI introduces a deep learning approach to colorectal cancer diagnosis that offers quicker, more accurate detection, facilitating timely treatment. Another team of researchers built a machine learning model to identify a novel biomarker for breast cancer.

鈥淥ur aim is to highlight recent advances in the field and the exceptional work of 大香蕉视频 investigators within our community,鈥 says , professor of biomedical data science, epidemiology, and computer science. 鈥淲e believe this symposium will spark engaging discussions and foster connections among students, faculty, and staff.鈥

The event is open to the 大香蕉视频 community. See the .
