Join ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ Libraries to hear Peter Orner, ´óÏ㽶ÊÓƵ Professor of English and Creative Writing, read from his latest novel, The Gossip Columnist's Daughter. In this book "" (in Orner's own words), the cold case of a young Hollywood starlet’s death sets a contemporary writer on an epic and comic quest to uncover the truth, and its connection to his own family.
After the reading, librarians Wendel Cox and Shawn Martin will join Orner for a conversation about the research process that made this book possible, as well as the unique concerns that arise when an author weaves fact into fiction.
